Olympics officials banned alcohol sales for both spectators and athletes in the athletes village. Despite pressure from Big Alcohol giant and Tokyo Olympic sponsor Asahi Breweries, officials made this decision after public outcry. But it didn’t prevent alcohol harm completely.
