Exposed: Predatory Alcohol Industry Practices on Tiktok

A survey conducted by journalists at the research site Pointer found that the Tiktok feed a 13-year-old Dutch boy scrolled through for an hour was largely dominated by alcohol.
In the face of predatory alcohol industry practices on social media, people across countries support a complete advertising ban.
For instance, every second Swede supports a ban of alcohol advertising on social media. Alcohol ads on social media channels have become so rampant in Sweden, a country that protects its population from alcohol harm through an advertising ban.
