Big Alcohol Lobbies Against Alcohol Taxation in India and Kenya – Again

Two countries, one story: Big Alcohol has renewed its lobbying efforts against alcohol tax improvements in Kenya and also to weaken alcohol tax laws in India.

Big Alcohol lobbies against effective alcohol policy measures especially in the global south. By doing so the alcohol industry attempts to push even more alcohol in these countries which are usually less alcohol-consuming than western countries.
