South Africa and COVID-19: Mixed Reactions to Increasing Alcohol Availability During Level 1 Lockdown

The South African government relaxed COVID-19 restrictions when the country entered level 1 lockdown. As a result alcohol availability has increased in the country. Alcohol is now sold as per normal liquor license provisions, except between Midnight to 4:00 AM curfew hours.
