Germany: New Government Plans to Improve Alcohol Marketing Rules

Germany’s Social Democrats (SPD), Greens (Die Grünen) and Free Democrats (FDP) have concluded coalition talks, the party leaders have announced.
With the announcement came the release of the new coalition contract. It includes several commitment by the new government to improve alcohol policy, with the clearest commitment being to strengthen alcohol advertising regulations in line with latest evidence.
