Australia: Call for Reconciliation Australia to End Woolworths Support Over Alcohol Superstore in the Middle Alcohol-Free Aboriginal Communities

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and health leaders are calling on Reconciliation Australia to end their support of Woolworths, in view of the Dan Murphy’s alcohol superstore the company is planning to build in Darwin among alcohol-free aboriginal communities.

The communities state the company can no longer be recognized for their reconciliation efforts since they will knowingly cause immense alcohol harm to the communities with their superstore.
