Finland: People Want Public Interest, Not Alcohol Lobby to Inform Alcohol Policy Making

People in Finland are well aware of the strong influence that the trade sector in general and the alcohol industry in particular are having on the country’s alcohol policy decisions. But people feel that science-based information, as well as public health should be the most important factors guiding alcohol policy decisions.
