New research findings from Sweden reveal that alcohol accounts for a large part of Sweden’s total climate footprint. Nevertheless, alcohol is a glaring omission from climate impact calculations. Considering that alcohol harms both human and planetary health, alcohol prevention is an important tool in the response to the climate crisis.
