IOGT Norway, FORUT and Actis are calling on the Norwegian government to end the pension fund’s investment in the alcohol industry. These investments which have been growing over the years are in direct contradiction to the global health and development initiatives promoted by Norwegian government.
IOGT participated in the hearing through policy advisor Nils Johan Svalastog Garnes who also made a statement addressing the Finance Committee, on behalf of the members of IOGT in Norway.
