England, Wales: Alcohol Deaths Reach Record High during COVID-19 Pandemic

Deaths caused by alcohol products in England and Wales increased by 16.4% during January to September 2020 amidst COVID-19 compared to the same time period in 2019. Urgent action needs to be taken to strengthen alcohol control policy.
