The chief executive of Chivas Brothers expressed hopes a free-trade deal between the UK and India would make it easer for their whisky products to be sold in India by cutting import taxes. Chivas Brothers is a liquor brand owned by Big Alcohol giant Pernod Ricard. It appears the liquor giant is looking to influence Indian policies for more profit at the cost of health and well-being of the Indian people.
