Australia: Communities Beat Big Alcohol, Stop Superstore In Aboriginal Communities

Communities have won against Woolworths attempt at planting one of the largest Dan Murphy’s alcohol superstores in Darwin. This victory is the result of five year struggle led by community members and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, as well as health and other civil society organizations to protect Darwin people’s health and well-being.
